BostonTalks @ WGBH
BostonTalks is WGBH’s smarter happy hour. Drink wine and local craft brews for $5 a glass while you hear from and connect with local experts in a variety of fields and enjoy the great company of your neighbors from Boston and beyond. After I am briefly interviewed, I’ll be mingling and chatting and drinking with attendants. Should be fun!

Upstairs & Downstairs - She the People Walking Tour
This tour, in which we walk through the Back Bay and the South End, discusses women's throughout the history of Boston. This includes the work of enslaved women, servants, artists, prostitutes, women who "married well," and secretaries. We'll look at a variety of questions about what their interactions were, how they helped each other, and how they kept each other down.
Comings & Goings - She the People Walking Tour
On this tour, we walk through some of the older parts of Boston, around the Common and into Chinatown. The focus is on arrivals and departures that changed the face of the city and the course of women's history.

This Special 4th of July Edition will begin as my book does, watching the Declaration of Independence read from the balcony of the Old State House — though we won’t tearing down any statues, of course.
